Is the Windows 7 or XP talking about the printer server?
Printing with access method U there has nothing to do with the frontend OS.

Please check, which fonts are defined in the smartstyle, you can also change the spool to RAW
display and see into the spool, search with key word 'FC' and see what fonts are used.
